Vijay Deverakonda has been a big craze among the youth ever since his 2017 film Arjun Reddy became a blockbuster. The actor will now be seen in Taxiwala directed by debutant Rahul Sankrityan. Geetha Arts and U.V. Creations, which have jointly produced the flick, are eager to cash on Vijay’s fan following.
In the same light, the producers have decided to release the film in 500 screens. “Generally, Vijay’s films release in less than 400 screens, but this time, the makers are planning to buy more than 500 screens because of his following,” says a source.
Moreover, the film’s director, Rahul is confident about the project and says that Vijay’s character in this film bears a completely different dimension when compared to Arjun Reddy. “It’s a hilarious film with an element of science fiction,” said Rahul.
