'Chandramukhi 2' Releasing On Sept 28 Will Surely Impress Audience: Raghava Lawrence
Star Choreographer, Actor, Producer, Director, Raghava Lawrence in a lead role, Bollywood Starlet Kangana Ranaut in a titular role are playing the lead roles in the big-budgeted film, 'Chandramukhi 2'. Senior Director P. Vasu is helming this project. Subhaskaran is producing the film under the prominent production house Lyca Productions. This high-budgeted film is getting released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on 28th September. NV Prasad is releasing 'Chandramukhi 2' in Telugu states under the Sree Lakshmi Movie banner. Makers unveiled the second trailer from the film. On this occasion, a press meet was held.
Raghava Lawrence says, " When Vasu Gadu announced that he will be doing 'Chandramukhi 2', I thought they were making it with Rajinikanth Garu. When I called Vasu Garu and asked about it, he said he was looking for another hero as Rajinikanth Garu was busy with other projects. When I asked about the story, he told me to meet him that evening. He narrated the story and I liked it immensely. It is due to Raghavendra Swamy's blessing, I acted in the role which was done by Rajinikanth Garu. I didn't think about how great I could perform in the role enacted by The Superstar. I wanted to do justice to my role and did it cautiously.
This film will surely impress you all. I am lucky to act along with a big star like Kangana Ranaut. I was afraid looking at her security when she first entered the sets. When I told her about that, She immediately sent her security outside. She did the role playfully. She scares in the role of Chandramukhi. I did 'Shivalinga' with Vasu Garu earlier. We did 'Chandramukhi 2' in a completely different manner compared to that film. After I got confirmed in 'Chandramukhi 2', I called Superstar Rajinikanth Garu and told him about doing the film. He said that his Guruvu Gari blessings will be with me. I also took the blessings of Rajinikanth Garu while I played the role of Vettaiyaar in the film. It's a memorable experience working with Oscar Winner Keeravani Garu and star comedian Vaduvelu. 'Chandramukhi 2' will be released in theatres on 28th September."
Bollywood Star Heroine Kangana Ranaut says, " I worked in South films in the past. I did 'Ek Niranjan' in Telugu. Now, once again I am coming to the Telugu audience with 'Chandramukhi 2'. Chandramukhi's character speaks in Telugu in this film. When Vasu Garu approached me for a Warrior kind of film, I asked him who was playing the role of Chandramukhi in 'Chandramukhi 2'. When he said that no one was finalized, I told him I would do it. He instantly agreed to it. That's how I entered this project. 'Chandramukhi' has comedy and horror elements mixed. Similarly, 'Chandramukhi 2' also has all such elements. Chandramukhi was made in several languages. But, Jyothika Garu played that role effectively. I got inspired by her. Jyothika gets possessed by Chandramukhi in that film. But, 'Chandramukhi 2' is about the real Chandramukhi. Vasu Garu crafted my role for that character. 'Chandramukhi 2' will be released on September 28th."
Director P. Vasu says, " After a long time, I am coming to the Telugu audience with 'Chandramukhi 2'. I linked the 'Chandramukhi' film with 'Chandramukhi 2' and readied the script for this film. It will surely impress the audience. In Telugu, I did Nagavalli. That film has a different point. But, this film is about why Chandramukhi who left the fort 17 years ago, returned to it. Raghava Lawrence played the role which was played by Superstar Rajinikanth Garu. It's a wonderful experience working with Oscar-winner Keeravani Garu. He has a great music sense after Illaiyaraja Garu. He gave a terrific background score for the film. 'Chandramukhi 2' which is releasing on September 28th will enthrall the audience for sure."
