Hyderabad: Earlier this month, Mahesh Babu, accompanied by his wife Namrata Shirodkar and their children Sitara and Gautam, enjoyed a vacation in Scotland to celebrate the actor's 48th birthday.
During a recent event in Hyderabad, Mahesh was questioned about his frequent foreign trips with his family, and he responded with a memorable statement.
When asked about his frequent travels, Mahesh Babu remarked, "Do you find them interesting or are you jealous? I regularly go on trips and share them on Instagram for everyone to see. I'm aware of the comments. Whenever there is a break between shooting schedules or when my children have holidays, we go on trips as a family. I also believe that people derive pleasure and happiness from my photos. I don't know and I can't be certain if people would feel jealous. I don't see why others shouldn't appreciate me going on vacations."
The video clip of Mahesh's response was shared on Twitter and garnered support from fans. One fan commented, "This video is a fitting response to those few media outlets spreading negative news about Mahesh Babu." Another person tweeted, "When and how many vacations he goes on is none of your business. People get overly possessive about their favourite stars. Get a real job." An admirer of the actor wrote, "Mahesh anna's swag."
Mahesh Babu and his family have recently enjoyed holidays in various locations. In July-August, they travelled to the UK, with Namrata sharing glimpses of their trip to London and Scotland on Instagram. They also had a memorable dinner outing with Namrata's sister, actor Shilpa Shirodkar, and her husband.
In March-April, Namrata and her extended family shared pictures from their European vacation, including a visit to the Eiffel Tower in Paris and moments in Switzerland. They even celebrated Christmas at a Swiss resort. Last year, the couple explored New York, sharing their experiences through pictures.
Mahesh Babu's next film, 'Guntur Kaaram,' directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is scheduled for release in January 2024.
