The Movie Artiste Association (MAA) on Monday met a few important associations and requested them to offer chances to the Telugu actors.
“There are many Telugu actors who are members of MAA, but they haven’t been getting opportunities in Telugu films. We request everyone to provide opportunities to Telugu actors and to support them,” Jeevitha, General Secretary of MAA, said. MAA President Naresh also requested directors to encourage Telugu actors.
Both Jeevitha and Naresh met Telugu Film Producers Council President, C Kalyan; Telugu Film Producers Council Secretary, Supriya; and the Director’s Association President N Shankar.
“Many of the Telugu actors, both male and female, who are financially poor, are sitting idle without any work. We’d created a website and had added the names of all the members in it so that filmmakers could find them easily. We request you to give them all a chance and help them settle financially,” says Jeevitha.
