Tollywood stars donate, Mahesh Babu and Chiru announce Rs 1 crore each

While appreciating the efforts of the Telangana government, superstar Mahesh Babu contributed Rs 1 crore towards the CM Relief Fund of Telangana. “I urge all of you to come forward and donate towards the cause. Let’s stand by our people during these difficult times (sic),” Mahesh Babu tweeted.

Megastar Chiranjeevi too announced Rs 1 crore as his donation. “The unprecedented rains in Hyd have caused massive devastation, loss of lives & extreme hardship to thousands. My heart goes out to those affected by nature’s fury. I’m humbly donating Rs.1 cr to CM Relief Fund. Also appeal 2 all who can to come forward & help the needy (sic),” Chiranjeevi tweeted.

Other actors who donated were Jr NTR, Rs 50 lakh, Nagarjuna Rs 50 lakh, Vijay Deverakonda Rs 10 lakh, director Trivikram and director Harish Shankar contributed Rs 10 and 5 lakhs each.
