Priya Banerjee who was last seen in Asura in Telugu, is set to return to Tollywood. The former model will be seen in a Telugu-Hindi web series, starring Rana Daggubati, directed by Shashi Sudigala. Titled Social, Priya will be seen as an aspiring actress in thriller drama series.
Ask the actress what drove her to sign a web series, she explains, “I play an aspiring actress who knows what she wants in life. She gets entangled in an Internet ratchet and how she rescues people out of it is very interestingly etched. I have never been part of such a series. Since it is a performance-oriented role I thought it would be a great way to be seen by the Telugu audience.”
Priya, who is also working on a couple of Hindi projects, has already commenced shooting for the web series penned by Gautami Challagula.
