After the dismal box office performances of his first two films, Akhil Akkineni is treading cautiously. The actor is carefully sifting through projects to figure out what works for him and what doesn’t. Now, Sathya Prabhas Pinisetty’s (Malupu fame) script seems to have caught the young actor’s eye. Akhil, who’s currently shooting a romantic entertainer with Venky Atluri, feels Sathya’s film would bring out a new shade in him and would be an ideal follow-up. He has given his verbal consent to the film and has asked the director to develop a comprehensive narrative.
A source says, “Akhil is pretty kicked about Sathya Prabhas’s plotline and wants to work with him next. However, it all depends on how the script shapes up and the result of his current film under director Venky Atluri.”
