More than a year after making her debut with Nela Ticket, Malvika Sharma has finally given her consent to her second project, which is a remake of the Tamil crime thriller, Thadam. Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film will see her paired opposite Ram.
The actress is believed to have decided to take up the role because she liked her characterisation in the film. Also, we are told, Malvika loved the way director Kishore has packaged the script.
“Although Nela Ticket didn’t click at the box office, Malvika was noticed in her debut film. She wants to do films where she has a good role and strong screen presence and she feels that the Kishore-Tirumala directorial offers the scope for that. Nivetha Pethuraj will be the other leading lady in the film, which will go on floors soon,” adds a source.
While the director is still finalising the locations and wrapping up the pre-production, the film’s producer, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is working on the other modalities of production.
