'My son is not a drug addict': Ravi Teja's mother on his name being dragged in case

Hyderabad: Film personalities are getting ready to appear before Special Investigative Team (SIT) of the Prohibition and Excise department from Wednesday.

As per the schedule released by the SIT, Puri Jagannadh will appear before the SIT on Wednesday followed by Charmi (Thursday), Mumaith Khan (Friday), Subbaraju (Saturday) and Shyam K. Naidu (Sunday).

The SIT will grill others next week with Ravi Teja on July 24 followed by Chinna (25th), Navdeep (26th), Tarun (27th), Nandu and Tanish on July 28.

Sources said that the SIT has already prepared to grill them and officials will question them in three phases.

Film Star Ravi Teja’s mother Rajya Lakshmi told media that Ravi was busy with film shootings and he would appear before the SIT as per the schedule. “My son is not a drug addict and he is a hard worker,” she said.

So far the SIT served notices on 11 persons out of 12 and it has to serve notice to Mumaith Khan. Sources said that she is busy with the ‘Big-Boss’ show.

Many film stars are those who are busy planning to send their advocates to appear before the SIT.
