As Vishal and Keerthy Suresh starrer Pandem Kodi 2 readies for release, Tagore Madhu, who is bankrolling the Telugu version, believes that the rustic drama will live up to people’s expectations.
The film is a sequel to the super hit flick Pandem Kodi. “We have added more life into the script and the characters, to make it more appealing to the audience. I am sure that the film will strike a chord with the audience,” says Tagore Madhu, adding, “People who did not watch the first version will still be able to relate to and connect with the second part. We have only the backdrop, but have completely changed the characters and the narrative of the story.”

Directed by Lingusamy, Pandem Kodi 2, which also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, has action sequences and emotional drama as important elements. “The film caters to all sections of the audience and that’s because of the way the script has been penned,” Madhu explains.
Interestingly, Tagore Madhu is remaking the Telugu super hit film Temper, in Tamil with Vishal as the lead.
“We believe the script can be narrated on a wider scale. Since the Telugu version was a super hit, I want to recreate the same magic in Tamil,” he adds.
