Boman Irani is a familiar face to the Telugu audiences thanks to his key roles in films like Attarintiki Daredi and Bengal Tiger. And it looks like the Bollywood actor is being considered for another vital role in Allu Arjun’s next with Vakkantham Vamsi.
In the action-drama, the director is looking for a Bollywood actor who can add a new dimension to the role, and look convincing, and that’s how they zeroed in on Boman. Talks are on and the makers are optimistic about his inclusion.
A source close to the unit reveals, “The makers were very specific about approaching only a Bollywood actor for the particular role. Since Boman has already done a couple of Telugu films, they brought him on board. Especially since the actor had put in a great effort to learn Telugu during his earlier films, and they felt that would be a huge advantage for both him and the team.”
Meanwhile, the hunt for the leading lady is on. Although several names are doing the rounds, none has been finalised.
