There was a great deal of excitement over skilled lensman, C.K. Muraleedharan, who brought to life two of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters — PK (2014) and 3 Idiots (2009), being roped in for Jr NTR’s film Jai Lava Kusa with director Bobby (K.S. Ravindra). However, after completing work on nearly 45 per cent of the film, the cinematographer is no more on board and renowned Telugu lensman Chota K. Naidu will be joining the team.
While a source tells us that there were differences between the director and cinematographer which led to this sudden change, a person from the unit refutes this and says, “The decision was mutual and a very private one. I cannot disclose the reasons to you but there was nothing wrong between him and Bobby. Muraleedharan hasn’t burnt his bridges.”
Meanwhile, the film, starring Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas as the female leads is presently progressing at a brisk pace. Jr NTR plays a triple role in the film and the first look of which is set to be released on May 19.
