It’s going to be a busy summer for Samantha. Even as she recently wrapped up Rangasthalam, she has now almost completed work on Mahanati. Interestingly, both the films are set to release on consecutive days in March. What’s more, her Tamil film Irumbu Thirai co-starring Vishal is set to release around the same time too.
“This is quite an exciting time for the actress considering all the three films see her in varied roles. Mahanati is a period film where she’s going to be seen in the role of a scribe from the ’80s. Rangasthalam is already creating waves for her avatar as a rustic village belle while Irumbu Thirai sees her as a doctor and is set to release during the same weekend in Telugu too. She’s happy with the way things are shaping up for her,” say sources close to her.
Meanwhile, the actress has already begun work on the Telugu-Tamil bilingual remake of Kannada film U-Turn.
