Sarrainodu's action scenes toned down

Allu Arjun and Boyapati Srinu have decided to re-shoot a few scenes after the Censor Board gave it a “Aâ€certificate.

The makers have re-shot a few scenes of the Allu Arjun starrer Sarrainodu. It’s not that they were not happy with the scenes and went for the re-shoot, but was a decision brought on by the Censor Board.

Apparently, the Board had said they would give the film an “A” certificate because of a few high voltage action scenes, but if the scenes were edited, they were willing to give a “U/A” certificate.

“Lead actor Allu Arjun and director Boyapati Srinu discussed it and decided to re-shoot those scenes again with lesser intensity. If they would have only edited those scenes, the connectivity would have been lost. So they decided to reshoot,” says a source.

Allu Arjun too thought that if the film received an “A” certificate they would lose out on the family audiences. The film is releasing on April 22. Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead and Allu Aravind is producing it under his home banner.
