Saif Ali Khan, Aditya Roy to join hands for Telugu director?

It is the turn of new-age Telugu director Hemanth Madhukar, who made the path-breaking Telugu film Nishabdam', to make a Hindi film.

It seems that Bollywood stars are fascinated with Telugu directors these days and the list is growing by the day. Now, it is the turn of new-age Telugu director Hemanth Madhukar, who made the path-breaking Telugu film ‘Nishabdam’, to make a Hindi film. He is reportedly in talks with big stars like Saif Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapoor to dish out a big budget multi-starrer.

“Unlike other Telugu directors, Hemanth has started his career in Bollywood with interesting movies like ‘A Flat’ and ‘Mumbai 125km’. He is returning to Bollywood with a star-studded film after more than 10 years. The talks reached the final stage and shooting could commence next year ,” says a source from Mumbai.

Hemanth has been spending more time in Mumbai and having discussions with varied producers to expand his brand equity. “He has good command over commercial Hindi cinema and keenly observing changing trends in Bollywood. He has readied a larger-than-life script to dish out a two-hero movie to announce his arrival with a bang,” adds the source.

He further claims that the action adventure would be produced by Vishal Rana who made Hindi movies like ‘Blurr’ with glam diva Tapsee. Right now, new-age director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is doing well in Bollywood after blockbuster ‘Kabir Singh’. He has joined hands with sensational star Ranbir Kapoor for his upcoming film ‘Animal’ and it has triggered a lot of hype. Another Telugu filmmaker G Ashok is also in talks to make a big ticket film with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.
