My character in RGG 2 is related to the Suchi leaks controversy: Samantha

Actress Samantha says Raju Gaari Gadhi 2 is different compared to her earlier films. “I have acted in many films in full length roles. Though I have a short role in this film, the impact is high. It’s going to be one of the best ones,” she says.

According to her, this film has a message for everyone. She hinted at the “Suchi leaks” controversy that rocked the Tamil film industry, where singer Suchitra had released some adult videos of a few actresses on social media. “You all know about the leaks controversy on social media. My character is very close to every girl in that video. It also gives a message to every person who circulated, opened, saw and laughed at those videos,” says Samantha.

She adds that she didn’t have to use glycerine for emotional sequences in this film. “When I did this role I never used glycerine for the emotional scenes. It came to me naturally,” shares the actress.

Talking about her recent wedding to actor Naga Chaitanya, she says, “It’s an eight-year-long friendship. I married my best friend.” Elaborating on the new development in life, Samantha reveals that she understands that it’s a big responsibility. “I know I am Akkineni Samantha from now onwards and I have to live up to the family’s legacy and reputation,” she concludes.
