The title logo of actor Gopichand’s next film — an action entertainer named Chanakya — was released on Sunday. Tipped to be a spy thriller, the film has been directed by Thiru.
Justifying the title, the filmmakers say, “We feel Chanakya is apt because of its plotline and intriguing content. The hero’s characterisation will also be unique and befitting of the title. While 50 percent of the shoot is complete, the film is being canned in Hyderabad.” Written by director Thiru, the film’s dialogues are by Abburi Ravi.
“One of the talking points of the film will be the colloquial dialogues. The action sequences too will elevate the film’s plotline and keep the audience on the edge of their seats,” states the director. Anil Sunkara is producing the action entertainer, which also features Mehreen and Zarine Khan.
