Dimple Hayati, who shot to fame with the film, Gulf, will play one of the leading ladies in the Tamannaah- Prabhudheva-starrer.

After making her debut with the hard hitting movie, Gulf, actress Dimple Hayati has bagged another big film. She has been roped in as one of the leading ladies in the forthcoming bilingual, Devi 2, directed by A.L. Vijay.
Apparently, the filmmakers were fascinated to see Dimple’s makeover and believed that she will be apt for the part. The actress has already begun shooting in Mauritius.
A source informs, “Director A.L. Vijay was looking for an actress who has a fresh appeal and yet lend charm to the character. After seeing Dimple’s performance in Gulf and her recent makeover, he made up his mind that she was the heroine.”
Devi 2, the musical-horror comedy that stars Tamannaah and Prabhudheva, is said to be the sequel to 2016 film, Devi.
