The makers of Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming film are reportedly planning to rope in Rakul Preet Singh once again as the leading lady. Although the superstar’s latest outing SPYder was disappointing, Vamsi Paidipally, the director of Mahesh’s next film, believes Rakul would be the perfect choice for the female lead in his film. Although Mahesh-Rakul isn’t a hit jodi, Vamsi is confident that their pairing will create the required magic.
A source says, “The talks to cast the actress have just been initiated. If all goes well, Rakul will play Mahesh’s love interest for the second time. Her dates, shooting schedules, etc., are yet to be discussed.”
Earlier, Pooja Hegde had been roped in as the female lead, but Rakul is likely to replace her.
