Dil Raju edits controversial DJ song

The producer assures everyone that he has no intentions of hurting anyone with his film.

For the last few days, a song from the upcoming film Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ) has been in the news, with the Brahmin association objecting a few words from the film’s song. Now, the makers have finally decided to remove the controversial words.

“Yes, we are going to remove the words Namakam and Chamakam from the song,” says producer Dil Raju, adding that everyone knows that he always comes up with clean films. “There are a few Sanskrit words in the song. However, the Brahmin association objected and I decided to remove them,” says Dil Raju, who assures, “It’s a good film and has shaped up well.”

Meanwhile, Dronamraju Ravi Kumar, the President of the All India Brahmins Federation is a satisfied man. “I spoke to director Harish Shankar and he agreed to remove the two words from the song,” he says.
