Actress Ruhi Singh has been roped in as the leading lady in producer Manchu Vishnu’s Hollywood film, which is being directed by Jeffery Chin.
Ruhi, a former pageant winner, is known for her dazzling performances in films like Calendar Girls and Ishq Forever. Her oodles of confidence, screen presence, and her performance as one of the protagonists in an English documentary were the clincher for her.
As for the film, it sure looks like the Hollywood venture is getting bigger with each passing day. And Manchu Vishnu is pulling off a casting coup of sorts! He first got Jeffrey Chin to helm the film and then Kajal Aggarwal in a crucial role; now, he’s got Bollywood actress Ruhi Singh as part of the team. “As the film is on a huge scale, the filmmakers are leaving nothing to chance and are roping in actors who’ll be convincing in the part. That’s why they have zeroed in on Ruhi,” informs a source.
