After Ram Gopal Varma expressed interest to make a film on Sashikala, the actor-politician’s friend, veteran filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao is now planning to work on a biopic on Jayalalithaa.
Interestingly, he has also registered a title ‘Amma’ for the same. “Script work has begun and he plans to make the film in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. The director has known her personally due to several interactions with her over the years and is writing a story starting from her days as an actress to her journey as a feisty politician,” reveals a source. It is to be seen who will be roped in to play the lead character.
