Undoubtedly, seasoned star Balakrishna has to come to the rescue of director Boyapati Sreenu since his latest film 'Skanda' is sinking at the box office. Actually, Boyapati met Tamil star Suriya and discussed a project to be made after ‘Skanda’. “It is true that Suriya had a meeting with Boyapati Sreenu a few months ago. They wanted to make a big-bang action adventure. But now Suriya being busy for another two years and also with 'Skanda' not doing well, Boyapati has to look out for another hero,” says a source.
Actually, Nandamuri Balakrishna heaped praises on his favorite director Boyapati at the pre-release event of ‘Skanda’ and claimed that they always tried to raise the bar with each film. “We kept moving on from one film after another without pondering over our previous hits. We started each film afresh and completely focused on it to deliver big hits from ‘Simha to ‘Akanda’,” said the scion of the Nandamuri family. On the same stage, Boyapati also hinted about doing “Akhanda 2’ with Balakrishna and drew applause from Nandamuri fans in the stadium.
“Balakrishna is only man Sreenu can bank on at this stage of his career. Balakrishna doesn’t bother about hits and flops and just goes by the story narrated by a particular director and if he likes it, he will give his nod,” the source adds.
