That Naga Shourya is very hard-working, has been proven by his array of hits like Oohalu Gusagusalade and Kalyana Vaibhogame. But the actor, who is awaiting the release of Jyo Atchuthananda on September 9, reveals that he was a lazy student.
Reminiscing about his pranks to avoid homework during his school days, he says, “My parents used to leave home asking me to do my homework, but I would just go play. By the time they return, I wouldn’t have done any homework and would lie to them that the power had gone out. After a few days, they fixed an inverter at home and I had no more excuses. Finally, I found a way out. I just pulled out a tooth to skip studying. It was very painful, but I was happy that I didn’t have to study!” Naga Shourya admits that it still hurts.
He says his upcoming Avasarala Srinivasa Rao’s movie is a hilarious one. He concludes on an excited note, “One can make out from the trailer that it is a love triangle, but there is a big surprise in store.”
