Sehban Azim is all set to turn host of a game show in the series Thapki Pyaar Ki. In order to get the nuances right, the actor has taken inspiration from the Kaun Banega Crorepati’s (KBC) host Amitabh Bachchan. He has been diligently watching episodes of KBC. When we contacted Sehban, he said, “I am playing a game show host in the next few episodes. Who best to take inspiration from but the greatest host of India — Mr Bachchan! I have spent a lot of time watching Big B host the show. I have tried to inculcate his mannerisms into my act.” He continues, “The way he builds suspense for the participants and the audience is amazing. I understand that it is difficult to match up to him but I have surely learnt a lot from the master himself.”
If the actor does manage to create an impression, will he follow actors like Karan Wahi and Ritvik Dhanjani, who have made a mark as hosts in a big way? “I will have to look at the response first.
Only then can I decide if I want to take this up in a big way. But honestly acting is my passion. I cannot imagine doing anything else, so acting can never take a backseat,” shares Sehban.
