Ashish Chowdhry celebrates his birthday with students of a night school

Mumbai: Ashish Chowdhry, who is associated with an NGo ‘Masoom’ that works for night school, celebrated his birthday on July 21 with his Twitter family (fans) by collecting funs and arranging for school uniforms for the kids and throwing a small party.

Eight of the actor’s fans from various parts such as South Africa, Dubai and India, gathered the funds and donated it to ‘Masoom’ for the uniform and dinner party of one of the ‘Masoom’s affiliated school.

Ashish along with his wife distributed this uniform on his birthday and also distributed food packets, cakes and muffins to the children of Gurunarayan School in Santacruz. The school has secured hundred percent results in SSC and highest individual percentage too among night schools.

The actor on his birthday told the student, “A hero is someone who does something good for the society and not the one who acts. People like Nikita Ketkar who is running Masoom, the teachers, principals and the students themselves for working during day and studying during the night are the heroes.”
