Late-night party at Bengaluru pub: Kaatera star Darshan, others appear before police

Bengaluru: Popular Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and several other celebrities appeared before the police on Friday after they were served notice by the cops for allegedly partying, violating the 1 AM deadline at a pub in northern Bengaluru.

Along with Darshan, other actors including Daali Dhananjay, Abhishek Ambarish, Satish Ninasam, Rockline Venkatesh, Tharun Sudhir (also director), Chikkanna and music composer-singer V Harikrishna also appeared before the Subramanya Nagar police.

The actors were partying all night to celebrate the success of Darshan’s movie ‘Kaatera’ at a pub, beyond the permissible hours on January 4, according to reports.

As the celebrities reached the police station to give statement, a large crowd of fans gathered outside the police station premises.
