Video surfaces of Kannada actors jumping along with Duniya Vijay
Mumbai: Fresh video of Kannada actors Anil and Uday jumping from a helicopter onto the Tippogondanahalli lake has surfaced.
The actors were filming a sequence for Sandalwood actor Duniya Vijay's upcoming film, 'Masti Gudi'. Vijay, who'd also been a part of the sequence, could swim ashore, but the other two actors didn't surface.
The mishap occurred reportedly due to inadequate safety measures. There was no ambulance or a speedboat on standby, as per early reports. Safety harnesses weren't provided to the two actors while a harness was provided to lead actor Vijay.

Previously, yesteryear’s Malayalam superstar Jayan had also died in a helicopter accident in 1980 during the making of the film, ‘Kolilakkam’. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan had also incurred a near fatal blow, rupturing his intestines, while filming a crucial action scene for his cult film, Coolie.
