Young music composer Sunil Kashyap feels that there’s nothing wrong in getting inspired from a song.“It is not wrong when you are inspired by a song and make one on the same lines, but when you are recreating the same, it is completely wrong.”
He explains, “Some directors want an emotional song and they give a few references. So sometimes I work on the same lines, but I never copy the same song. But sometimes filmmakers put pressure as they want some particular song. We get lot of phone calls and letters during then.”
“These days, beats are dominating more than the lyrics,” Kashyap says while adding, “My father plays the violin and teaches me classical music too. So I know about music and follow it,” he reveals.
When asked whether an adult comedy like Babu Baaga Busy has any scope for music, he says, “Yes. Once you watch the film, you will realise how important music is for this film.”A remake of Hindi film Hunterrr, the Naveen Medaram directorial is set for release on May 5.
