Very often we get to see children of filmmakers and actors making an appearance in movies. Mollywood too has been following the trend. Be it star kid Pranav Mohanlal, who played his dad’s childhood version in Onnaman or Adwaith Jayasurya, who acted in his father’s Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam, children of film personalities acting in movies heightens the curiosity of the audience.
This time, it is Oru Mexican Aparatha director Tom Emmatty’s son George who is making his acting debut with Mammootty-starrer Abrahaminte Santhathikal. The movie directed by Shaji Padoor will see Mammooty and Anson Paul playing the title roles. George will be acting as the younger version of Anson in the film. Tom himself had shared the news of his younger son’s acting debut through his Facebook page.
Tom is currently working on his next directorial, which reportedly has Mammooty playing the lead. Abrahaminte Santhathikal, which sees the mega star playing a police officer, has on board actors Kaniha, Maria John, Renji Panicker and Siddique among others. The shooting of the film is going on in Kochi.
