The much-awaited Dulquer Salmaan starrer Comrade in America (CIA) directed by Amal Neerad is expected to hit theatres on May 5. The team has recently released the second song from the film Vaanam Thilathilakkanu, which is a combination of Malayalam, Spanish and Hindi lyrics. The song was brought out by actor Dulquer Salmaan through his official page and within a few days, it garnered more than four lakh views on YouTube. The lyrics are written by Rafeeq Ahemad, Carolina (Spanish) and Mohammed Maqbool Mansoor (Hindi).
The song is crooned by Dulquer Salmaan along with Carolina and Mohammed to the music of Gopi Sundar. “My dear Dq, no one can sing this song like you. I proudly say that you are a massive playback singer (sic),” Gopi Sundar wrote on his Facebook page. The first song Kannil Kannil from the movie too has topped music charts. Karthika Muralidharan plays the female lead in CIA. Written by Pavada fame Shibin Francis, the movie has Dileesh Pothen, Soubin Shahir, Jinu Joseph, Siddique and Alancier in prominent roles.
