From the day of announcement, Jayasurya’s upcoming film Pretham has been in the news, as the actor is teaming up with Ranjith Sankar for the third time. Besides that, this is the third production venture of the Jayasurya-Ranjith duo for their banner Dreams N Beyond, which has produced hits such as Punyalan Agarbathis and Su... Su... Sudhivathmeekam.
Now the latest news is that Nyla Usha, who was paired opposite Jayasurya in Punyalan Agarbathis has been roped in for a prominent role in Pretham. When quizzed about her role, Ranjith says “That we cannot reveal at this point. All I can say is that she appears in an important role.” The production team is currently busy with the post production of the film, which is slated for release on August 12.
