Double delight for Prayaga Martin

The lovely Prayaga Martin has two of her movies Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan and Ore Mukham releasing on the same day

It has been around four months since the release of PaVa, which had Anoop Menon and Murali Gopy in the title roles. One of the main attractions of the film was its songs, especially Podimeesha Mulakkana rendered by P Jayachandran. Prayaga Martin, who appeared in the song and in a pivotal role in the film, is now gearing up to come up with two films on November 11 — Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan and Ore Mukham. In both films, she will be seen in heroine roles.

Prayaga says that it was soon after she completed PaVa and Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya that she joined Ore Mukham. “It was director Sajith Jagadnandan who narrated the screenplay to me. While hearing the script itself, I was very impressed by the project and that is how I became the character Bhama,” says the actress. The actress enacts a college-goer in 1980s. “When I got the role, I discussed it with my mom, to know more about the college culture of that period.

I had done detailed research about the styles in campus before I joined the sets,” says the actress, who is currently pursuing a graduation course. She is also the heroine in Nadir Shah’s Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan, which is slated to release along with Ore Mukham. “I am really happy and blessed to have two of my films releasing on the same date. Kattappanayile… is an out-and-out humour subject. I act as a girl who hails from Kattappana, who is a modern girl from her locality. As of now, I cannot talk much about the role and film.” Currently, she is acting in Siddique’s Fukri, which has Jayasurya in the lead role.
