Music director-lyricist-actor Vijay Antony, who’s awaiting the release of Pichaikaran, has not only been proving his mettle in acting of late, but is also completing several films simultaneously. “I love to keep myself busy all the time. After Pichaikaran, I am planning to release Saithan. I also have Hitler and Thirudan in my kitty as well. But Yeman is what is in the news now — I play a character in it, that’s quite unpredictable. We are planning to shoot extensively in Puducherry and Chennai and the shoot will be completed in a single schedule, spanning 80 days sans Sundays. It’s an action-based script,” he tells us and adds that he’s attempting something different in the film, a first as far as his acting stint is concerned.
“I am going to the gym these days and following a strict diet regime. I have been asked to binge-eat a lot to gain weight. I’d say you can expect the unexpected in this film. Mia George is the leading lady and Jeeva Sankar, who helmed Naan will be directing Yeman. My role will be one with negative shades too. After all, everybody has demons in them; don’t they?” he signs off.
