Tollywood actor Allu Arjun was in the city last week for the launch of his debut film in K’Town, which will be directed by Lingusamy and produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. This yet-to-be-titled bilingual, is said to go on floors in February 2017.
Rumours are abuzz that Keerthy Suresh is in talks for playing the lead role in this Tamil-Telugu bilingual as she has a strong foothold in both the languages. When DC contacted Gnanavel, he rubbished the rumours saying, “No, we haven’t approached her for the film. In fact, we are now looking for fresh faces to pair opposite Allu Arjun in the movie.”
Gnavavel also has Suriya’s 35th film Thaana Serndha Koottam with Vignesh Shivn wielding the megaphone. “The shooting of this film will commence by the end of September on an auspicious day. The full-fledged shoot will begin only in October,” he adds.
