Actress Satna Titus, who made a mark in Kollywood with her realistic performance in Pichaikkaran, has signed a film titled Thittam Potu Thirudara Kootam. This newly signed comedy thriller, directed by Naalaya Iyakkunar Sudhar, stars Kayal Chandran and Parthiepan in the lead roles.
Speaking to DC about her role, Satna says, “In Thittam Pottu Thirudara Kootam, I have played a contrasting character to my role in Pichaikkaran. I play Anjali, a tomboyish person who is also bold unlike the homely Maghizhini from my previous venture. We are one week into the shoot and Chandran is supporting me throughout. I do not get to do any comic sequences in the film while the characters around me provide comic relief!”
Director Sasi’s Pichaikkaran went on to become another profitable venture for Vijay Antony as an actor as well as a producer. Talking about the film’s reception, the actress adds, “The response I got from the audience was overwhelming. I am speechless. I never expected that the film would be a huge hit in both Tamil and Telugu.”
Satna also claims that she received so many offers after the movie became a hit. “I listened to around 30 different stories. I am being choosy at present,” she concludes. The actress has signed a Telugu film opposite a leading hero. Official details regarding the film will be out in the coming days.
