Vijay's dial tone was once Ajith's Billa'

The rivalry between Thala and Thalapathy fans is a never-ending affair. However, fans of both the icons are also keen to know the real relationship between the two stars. Actor Dhamu, who has worked with both the stars in many films, recently revealed in an interview about the admiration Vijay has for Ajith. He said, “Vijay is a big fan of Ajith. Once, he even had a song from Billa as his dial tone!”

He then added how Vijay felt when Ajith couldn’t act alongside him in Nerukku Ner — “Ajith sir had some date issues and had to back out from the project. Vijay felt bad that he couldn’t make it, but he was also happy later because it introduced a brilliant actor Suriya to the industry.”
