It looks like Nadigar Sangam has finally gotten itself out of the financial mess! Vishal, general secretary of the Sangam took to his Twitter account to convey this good news. Also the Sandakozhi actor stated that they had paid back the loan of Nadigar Sangam, thanks to the Natchathira Cricket conducted on Sunday.
He wrote, “Happy to announce that we have cleared the loan amount of 2 crore taken from Isari sir. And I sincerely thank him for coming forward to bear the interest amount of 9 lacs. Nadigar Sangam is clean of debts and our land is back with almost 8 cr in the trust account. 1st time in history of nadigar sangam. Thanks all for this. God bless (sic).”
Though this is positive news indeed, the organisation has been dogged by the backlash faced after the poor quality of the cricket match, as well as actor STR stating that he wanted to quit the Sangam.
