But we have hardly seen comedians’ sons being launched and making it big in K’town. Now, ace humourist Mayilsamy brings his son Anbu Mayilsamy in front of the camera with the movie Antha 60 Naatkal. A fantasy comedy, the movie revolves around the theme of people get punished for their misdeeds not only on earth, but also in heaven. Directed by Rajashekar, the movie is a hilarious take on the incidents that follow the journey from earth to heaven.
While veteran Charlie appears as himself as an actor, the filmmakers have roped in a host of comedians including Delhi Ganesh, Paandu, Madan Bob, Powerstar Srinivasan, Vaiyapuri Scissor Manohar, among others. Surprisingly, a Tamil girl Chandrika from Coimbatore has been chosen as Anbu’s pair. Karthi Raja is behind the camera.
