Vetrimaaran and Dhanush’s most anticipated gangster flick, Vada Chennai has finally started rolling. Dhanush revealed on Twitter that the film is going to be a trilogy. He wrote, “Vada Chennai — Trilogy. Started shooting for part 1 today.
Bless us (sic).” Sources that have not been verified, say that Daniel Balaji and Samuthirakani are on board for the film, while the rest of the cast and crew will be soon confirmed by the team.
Santhosh Narayanan is expected to compose music for Vada Chennai and Samantha is likely to be paired opposite Dhanush in the film.
Meanwhile, Dhanush has Prabhu Solomon’s Thodari slated for release. He is joining hands again with National Award winning director Vetrimaaran, with whom he has already worked in Polladhavan and Aadukalam.
