Director Ramesh, who shot to fame with his debut directorial Thegidi starring Ashok Selvan and Janani Iyer, is back with his second venture after a break of two years. According to the director, this yet-to-be-titled project is also a thriller.
Elaborating about his upcoming film, Ramesh says, “Currently, we are busy with the pre-production and next, we will be finalising the locations for our movie.
Similar to how Thegidi’s screenplay was unique and engaging, this film will also be on the same lines. As of now, we have roped in Sibiraj for the film and in two to three weeks, we will finalise the rest of the cast.”
Answering our query about the two-year break, he reveals, “After Thegidi, I was working on a fantasy script. Unfortunately, the film didn’t materialise because of several reasons — this created a gap in my career. Then, I started working on this script and it took me eight months to complete it. Producer Subbaiah is funding this project and will go on floors by next month.”
Ramesh also claims that this project will portray Sibiraj in a different light and adds that he is excited to start his film.
