Rumours that the shooting of Vishwaroopam 2 is underway in Turkey, have been making rounds on social media. However, Rajesh M Selva, a crucial member of the film’s crew, states that only the VFX work of the film is going on in full swing.

“There are many stunt sequences in the sequel that involves a lot of CG portions. The work is almost in its tail end. Only a very little portion is left to complete,” he says.

Addressing the rumours about the film’s shoot in Turkey, he reveals, “We don’t know which rumour we have to clarify, because there are a lot of them going around. We haven’t decided about the shoot and only the talks are on.”

He further adds, “Other than the information that is released through our Twitter handles, nothing is true. We have about 10 per cent of the post production work left. In terms of shooting, we have very minimum left to cover.”

The long-delayed project will continue to follow the story of a RAW agent Wisam Ahmed Kashmiri, played by Kamal Haasan, and stars Pooja Kumar, Shekhar Kapoor, Rahul Bose, and Andrea in pivotal roles.
