Tinsel town’s latest buzz is that filmmaker Rajiv Menon’s next, with GV Prakash as the lead protagonist, has been titled Sarvam Thaala Mayam. The best part of the musical drama is that GV’s uncle and Oscar winner AR Rahman, who shares a great rapport with Menon, has scored the music for the film. Close studio sources reveal that ARR has already composed nine songs for STM, and is busy with its background score.
The composer-turned-hero says, “Since it is a musical subject, Rajiv perhaps felt that I would be apt for the role — and so he cast me. The script has all the potential to be pan-Indian.” As far as his new look goes, he says, “It’s a secret. But it will be distinguished. I am also learning to play a few new rhythm instruments which I am not used to,” he grins.
