Vijayan, the famous stunt coordinator and former president of FEFSI, has also donned the hat of an actor and director in the past. Though his stint as a director didn’t do him any good, he continued acting in several films like Dhill, Inimey Ippadithaan and Muthuramalingam.
According to the latest reports, multi-faceted Vijayan has now been approached to play the antagonist in director Magizh Thirumeni’s upcoming flick, starring Arun Vijay in the lead. Speaking to DC, Vijayan reveals, “A couple of days back, I received a call from the production house. I am yet to meet the director to discuss the film though. At this point of time, it is too early to talk about it.” The stunt choreographer also adds that he cannot confirm anything until his inclusion is confirmed by the director or production house.
This untitled project will be on the lines of Thadaiyara Thakka and is expected to go on floors in June. Currently, pre-production work is underway and the team will be announcing the rest of the cast soon. Produced by Inder Kumar of Redhan The Cinema People, the film is said to be an intense script.
