Mammootty as villain in Jayam Ravi's TO2?

If sources are to be believed, Malayalam Superstar Mammooty has been approached by Mohan Raja for his sequel to his earlier blockbuster Thani Oruvan. The buzz is that Mammooty might be seen in a villainous role in TO2, which features Jayam Ravi as the lead protagonist.

Raja and Ravi recently announced that they would be soon starting part 2 of their earlier sleeper hit Thani Oruvan. Arvind Swamy’s mass stylish villain Siddharth Abhimanyu’s character was one of the highpoints of the original film. Now, reportedly, Raja’s challenge lies in identifying a star with a similar mass appeal to portray the negative role. Accordingly, the filmmaker has evinced an interest to bring multiple national award winner Mammootty on board.

While Nayanthara was seen romancing Ravi in the first part, we hear the makers are planning to bring Sayyesha, who made her debut with a Ravi film Vanamagan. Sayyesha, presently the toast of K’town, would probably sign the film, the source adds. Jayam Ravi has completed Adangamaru while Sayyesha is currently busy with a Suriya film.
