Vishnu is more confident now!

Vishnu is also simultaneously working on Suseenthiran's film. “I am open to working with anyone with a good script.

Life has changed a lot for Vishnu Vishal, who’s busy working on Ezhil’s Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran. Interestingly, he has also turned producer with this film. He tells us, “I always make sure that each of my films are different. That will be apparent if you see my filmography. To me, only good scripts matter. And I believe Velainu... will work out for me because it is the first time I am attempting something that is a full-on commercial entertainer.”

Ask him why he produced the script, and he says, “Producing a film makes me more confident and Ezhil pushed me out of my comfort zone. I have always liked his style of filmmaking, which attracts even in B and C centres as well. Nikki Galrani plays a cop and I play a right hand man to an MLA, who manages to ruin everything when he’s asked to do something. It’s a loud character. The film has a solid team backing me up like Robo Shankar and Soori. Everybody has an equal amount of screen space. In fact, turning producer was something unplanned. But I must say I am getting to know a lot of things and it’s been a great learning experience till date,” Vishnu adds.

The Neerparavai actor says Velainu... helped him discover the dancer in him. “Actually, I am not a good dancer and pulling off some steps was quite challenging for me. I didn’t have proper rehearsals, but I gave it my best. When I look at them, I feel good about myself. They have come out really well. Thanks to my choreographers Dinesh and Dheena,” he smiles.

Vishnu is also simultaneously working on Suseenthiran’s film. “I am open to working with anyone with a good script. This untitled flick has Udhayanidhi Stalin as one of the lead roles. Also I am shooting for Veera Dheera Sooran with Catherine Tresa,” he signs off.
