After much speculation, music director AR Rahman has finally confirmed that he will be scoring for director Sundar C’s upcoming film, which is producer Sri Thenandal Films’s 100th film. He wrote, “Very happy to be scoring for @ThenandalFilms 100th ambitious project to be directed by #SundarC.. My best Wishes to the team.” (sic) This untitled venture is being touted as the most expensive Indian film ever made. Reports suggest that this film might be based on a historical event.
Actors Vijay, Suriya, and Mahesh Babu’s names are being bandied to play the lead role in the movie. Sabu Cyril and R Kamalakannan have been roped in to look after the production design and VFX of this prestigious project. We hear that this yet untitled flick will be a trilingual made in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
