Actress Sayyeshaa, who is making her Kollywood debut with director Vijay’s Vanamagan, is now awaiting the film’s release. She is paired opposite Jayam Ravi in this forest-thriller, which will hit theatres on May 12.
Now, Sayyeshaa has bagged another big project. Rumours are abuzz that the actress has been roped in by director Prabhudheva for his upcoming film Karuppu Raja Vella Raja. A source in the know tells us, “It is true that Sayyeshaa has been signed on as the female lead for the movie. Currently, the team is sorting out the dates of the actress. An official announcement will be out on April 10.”
Karuppu Raja Vella Raja is a commercial venture, which will bring Vishal and Karthi together on screen. When asked who Sayyeshaa is paired with, the source remained tight-lipped. “It will be a surprise for the audience. A formal pooja will be held in Chennai on April 10, where the entire cast will be present.”
Produced by Isari Ganesh, the shooting of the film is expected to commence in the second week of June.
