Netizens have been making caustic remarks and trolling Julie for signing on for the film Dr. S.Anitha MBBS, which is about the late Anitha from a poor background who committed suicide against the NEET exam. Julie was the one who shot to fame during the Jallikattu protest and figured in the Bigg Boss reality show.
After Julie unveiled the poster on her twitter account, people started trolling her with dirty comments. A few said that it is atrocious to choose Julie to play Anitha who gave her life for the sake of aspiring medical students. There were also comments objecting Julie to be featured as Anitha as they said the former is a fake person while the latter is true fighter. “No one can demean Anitha more than this,” one post read.
An unfazed Julie claims, “Because, the film is being made for a social cause, I have accepted it. I know, a few people are against me and there are problems arising from other corners as well. But, I am firm.”
