Even M’town filmmaker and actor Lal who played the main villain in Sandakozhi and is part of its sequel, wishes to keep his story under wraps. “Yes, there’s a reason for that too and director Lingusamy specifically wants to underplay about the surprise role of Lal sir,” quipped Vishal.
Lingusamy admitted it was a big challenge looking for a replacement for Meera Jasmine who did the first part. “But for Keerthi Suresh, no one would have done justice to the role. I felt as if I was working with the legendary Savithri mam while shooting for Sandakozhi 2.”
